About the role

Pediatric Anesthesiologist providing perioperative care across various surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, plastic surgery, and complex neonatal cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide didactic and hands-on education to residents, medical students, and nurse anesthetists.
• Participate in or initiate clinical research; support scholarly activities.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentor trainees and junior faculty for professional growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or equivalent.
