About the role

A half-time Hawaiian Studies and Graphic Design teacher for grades K - 6.

Responsibilities

• Teach Hawaiian Studies and Graphic Design to students in grades K - 6.
• Incorporate cultural relevance and contemporary design principles into lesson plans.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
• Enrolled in a Teacher's Education Program to meet Hawaii licensing requirements within 3 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to teaching and learning in a culturally diverse environment.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum.
• Experience with graphic design software preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
