PEAK - Production Lab Intern

About the Role

PEAK is searching for highly ambitious and focused individuals to apply for the PEAK Production Laboratory Internship in Shawano, Wisconsin. Interns will step into all facets of PEAK Production with a focus on research opportunities within the production laboratories. They will delve deeply into the bovine semen production process, learning and performing laboratory processes to create semen products used on beef and dairy farm operations, and will have the chance to work with bulls in PEAK Production facilities. All interns will conduct individual projects structured around their interests and skillsets throughout the summer and will have the opportunity to explore other career opportunities within PEAK and the URUS family.

Location & Duration

This 12‑week internship takes place between May and August 2027 at PEAK’s Shawano, Wisconsin location. PEAK also has locations in Watertown, Madison, or Shawano, Wisconsin; Billings, Montana; and Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Ideal Candidates

• Students pursuing an education in agriculture, biology, genetics, or data science
• Currently attending a 2‑year technical college or a 4‑year university
• Passionate about agriculture and innovation
• Willingness to learn and experience new things
