PDX Delivery Drivers | Hourly - Tonkin Parts Center

About the role

Tonkin Parts Center is the largest automotive original equipment parts warehouse in the U.S., located in Portland just 5 minutes across the river from Vancouver, WA. The Delivery team supports nearly 4,000 customers across the Pacific Northwest by loading and unloading parts at the warehouse and customer stores, communicating with dispatchers and customers, and verifying order information against sales orders to ensure a great experience. The team utilizes the Elite Extra system to optimize driving routes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload automotive parts at the warehouse and customer stores.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers.
• Verify order information against sales orders.
• Utilize the Elite Extra system to optimize driving routes.
• Regularly lift up to 75 lbs and perform reaching, bending, and twisting while handling awkward and fragile parts.
• Ensure timely deliveries to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• 1‑2+ years of delivery driving experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable driving a 12‑18 ft box truck.
• Customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Must be 18 years or older with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, specific hours depending on the route; day‑shift options with varied schedule.
