Pay Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

About the Role

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology Unit (MCC-8) at the Morris Cancer Center at the New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications

• BSN (Required)
• 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting (Required)
• At least 1-3 years of Oncology RN experience (Preferred)
• Oncology or BMTU Certification (Preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certification (Required)
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (Required)

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 24 hours per month
• Weekends and holidays required
• Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Adheres to ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Ensures safety in practice, including reporting hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Understands the patient population served and tailors care accordingly.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
• Sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes plans to address specific patient needs.
• Acts as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager.
