About the role
Seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for flexible per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Managing cardiac rhythms
- Administering medications and IV therapies
- Collaborating with healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic records
- Following infection-control and safety protocols
- Educating patients and families
- Adapting to various hospital units
Qualifications and Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least 2 years of recent PCU experience within four years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required depending on the facility
