Eurofins Built Environment Testing offers Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) services to protect health in built environments. Clients include consultants, industry, real estate, healthcare, government, and homeowners. Services cover a wide range of tests, including asbestos (PLM/TEM), mold, bacteria, VOCs, allergens, Legionella, radon, lead, silica, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Air, Dust, Wipe and Water samples for analysis by TEM
  • Prepare and analyze Air samples by PCM
  • Accurately enter laboratory observations and data into the LIMS
  • Be able to work independently while coordinating work with co-workers
  • Performs and completes necessary and assigned laboratory QC tasks
  • Archiving and disposal of samples
  • Perform laboratory cleaning tasks of glassware, equipment, and surfaces
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Calibrate and prepare TEM grids for use in preparation procedures
  • Understand and follow laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
  • Be available for on call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have some college or laboratory experience
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Pay

Compensation range: $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Position is Full-time, Tuesday thru Saturday, 10:30am - 7:00pm plus overtime and weekends as needed.
