About the role

BDO is seeking an IT PCI Cyber Compliance Manager to join BDO’s thriving Cyber Practice. This practice provides global solutions for clients, including services and products to help reduce information risks and digital footprint while adhering to compliance standards worldwide. The Manager will work with a national team to build and expand the practice, managing global projects, collaborating with BDO member firms, and supporting client initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage teams to deliver services related to national security, cyber assessments, PCI, NIST, ISO, HIPAA, SWIFT Certification, and other related services to global and U.S. clients
  • Develop project plans, resource plans, and standardized methodologies; establish reporting and metrics for client project teams
  • Conduct client interviews, including pre-meeting materials and background research; mentor team members on client environments
  • Manage client deliverables, including responses to questions, draft and final reports, presentations, and other project outputs
  • Oversee day-to-day project requirements and coordinate on-site or remote teams
  • Collaborate with BDO team members in the U.S. and global member firms to meet client requirements
  • Build relationships with BDO professionals, cross-sell into different industries, and participate in industry events as a subject matter expert
  • Implement BDO methodologies to ensure consistency across projects and mentor team members to maintain quality and adherence to standards

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Mentor BDO professionals within the Cyber team
  • Develop and manage project budgets; ensure timely invoice delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Computer Science, Information Security, Accounting, or Finance
  • Five or more years of IT management or IT compliance consulting experience
  • Four or more years of experience managing IT or information security, cyber security, IT Cyber Compliance engagements, or equivalents
  • PCI QSA Certification (Qualified Security Assessor/Payment Card Industry)
  • CISA, CISM, ISA, CISSP, or other similar certifications

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, OneDrive, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge and/or experience with compliance platforms, IT Governance, information governance software, ECM, records management software, or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of database systems, software development lifecycle, and technology company operations
  • Ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting project deadlines and details
  • Ability to multi-task in deadline-driven environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
  • Ability to foster a team environment and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel

Pay

  • National Range: $115,000 – $140,000
  • Maryland Range: $115,000 – $140,000
  • NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $115,000 – $140,000
