PCB/Flex Engineer/Technician

About the role

Ironwood Electronics, based in Eagan, MN, is seeking a Printed Circuit Board/Flex Fabrication Engineer/Technician to manage our new captive etching and plating facility. This facility produces precision test contacts for semiconductor device testing. The role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to engage in diverse tasks, including PCB layout, manufacturing, and new product development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of a captive etching and plating facility for precision test contacts.
• Engage in PCB layout, manufacturing processes, and new product development.
• Interface with design engineers and sales/customer service teams.
• Apply additional skills such as laser cutting, lamination, and chemical analysis in PCB manufacturing.
