PCB Designer

About the role

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new PCB designs
• The transition of those designs into military qualified hardware
• Specifying the appropriate PCB construction based on requirements and environments
• Knowing IPC standards, supplier PCB fabrication techniques, and controlled impedance path layouts
• Working as part of a multidisciplined design team during the development phases of an emerging program

Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for:

• Developing new PCB designs
• The transition of those designs into military qualified hardware
• Specifying the appropriate PCB construction based on requirements and environments
• Knowing IPC standards, supplier PCB fabrication techniques, and controlled impedance path layouts
• Working as part of a multidisciplined design team during the development phases of an emerging program

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in PCB layouts
• Experience in the layout of High density printed circuit boards
• Controlled track impedance, RF PCB, and guard track layout experience
• Alegro/Expedition PCB designer experience
• Create and maintain component libraries
• Experienced footprint generation

Qualifications

• AS degree in PCB design or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance

Pluses

• Experience with Multi-Layer Flex Boards
• Experience with Orcad Schematic
