PCB Designer
About the role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing new PCB designs
- The transition of those designs into military qualified hardware
- Specifying the appropriate PCB construction based on requirements and environments
- Knowing IPC standards, supplier PCB fabrication techniques, and controlled impedance path layouts
- Working as part of a multidisciplined design team during the development phases of an emerging program
Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for:
- Developing new PCB designs
- The transition of those designs into military qualified hardware
- Specifying the appropriate PCB construction based on requirements and environments
- Knowing IPC standards, supplier PCB fabrication techniques, and controlled impedance path layouts
- Working as part of a multidisciplined design team during the development phases of an emerging program
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in PCB layouts
- Experience in the layout of High density printed circuit boards
- Controlled track impedance, RF PCB, and guard track layout experience
- Alegro/Expedition PCB designer experience
- Create and maintain component libraries
- Experienced footprint generation
Qualifications
- AS degree in PCB design or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance
Pluses
- Experience with Multi-Layer Flex Boards
- Experience with Orcad Schematic
