Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities designed to maintain personal hygiene, such as bathing, grooming, and skin care.
- Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and turns.
- Ensure a clean and orderly patient environment to promote safety and infection prevention.
- Notify clinical staff of any changes in a patient’s condition or safety concerns.
- Apply infection control concepts and techniques.
- Monitor, record, and effectively communicate the patient’s condition, activities, behaviors, and safety concerns using computerized documentation systems.
- Take vital signs and perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and glucose checks.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required.
- No certifications required.
- Paid, comprehensive in-classroom and on-the-job training provided.
