PCA Student Nurse
Job Description
A Patient Care Assistant, Student Nurse is an unlicensed assistive provider of nursing care to patients at Kaleida Health. Provides routine nursing care to patients in a hospital setting and performs other duties, as assigned. Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work is performed in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state, and federal authorities, as well as accepted standards of practice.
Education And Credentials
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current status as RN student in an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of one clinical nursing rotation.
Experience
- Internal and external applicants must have the core competencies and sufficient work experience to perform in the per diem position for which they are applying.
