PCA - Personal Care Assistant

About the role

As a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) at Miller’s Health Systems, you provide assistance to residents in their daily activities. This may include helping residents with personal hygiene needs, providing medication reminders, and assisting with housekeeping tasks in their apartments or rooms. This position is also a great first step if you are interested in a rewarding career in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene needs

• Help with housekeeping tasks in residents' apartments or rooms

Requirements

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Able to pass a physical examination for employment within the facility
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions

Exposure Category II: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, 24 hours per week (3pm–11pm)
