PCA - Personal Care Aide - Full-time

Location: Marysville • Status: Full-time, Dayshifts • Pay rate: $16/hr., weekly pay

About the role

As a Personal Care Aide at Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients. You'll provide 1:1 patient care with no overtime required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients with personal care.
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
