Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Schedule

• Days: 5:45 am - 2 pm
• Every other weekend
• Every other Tuesday
• Every other holiday

Pay

• Starting at $15/hr
• Additional $2.50 Nursing Premium for Nights
• $1 Shift Differential for Weekends

Responsibilities

• Carry out the Mission of Love by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services.
• Ensure the care of residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner.
• Assist residents in reaching or attaining the highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Provide care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Perform procedures included in the NA Training Manual within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Observe residents and answer call bells in a timely manner to respond to residents' care needs.
• Report observations, changes, unusual conditions, or reactions to supervisor or appropriate discipline promptly.
• Take appropriate action as requested or required by the situation.
• Accurately complete, document, and communicate all resident information and nursing care provided in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, hair care, nail care, and oral care.
• Provide direct resident care and transport residents to activities and appointments in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Maintain current competency associated with the DHS Direct Care Staff Education.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• First Aid training required.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
