About the role
Responsible for providing personal care services to residents in a residential care facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of living areas.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Experience in a caregiving or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and assist residents.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
