About the role

Adept Health Care Service is a licensed Home Care Agency, that has been serving the capital district for 38 years. Our team of caregivers has been trained to provide services ranging from companionship to personal care and everything in between to ensure that our clients remain in their home for as long as possible. Our office staff takes extra time to get to know each of our clients and employees personally in order to make the right match when choosing a care giver. We understand that each client has a specialized set of needs and we develop a plan of care to suit the specific needs of each individual.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and report on the health and well-being of clients.
• Ensure clients' safety and security within their home environment.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on client needs.

Requirements

• PCA or HHA certification.
• Independence, dedication, and a passion for caregiving.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various locations.
• No car required; cases will be chosen based on accessibility.

Qualifications

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Patience and empathy.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Basic computer skills (for scheduling and record-keeping).
