About the role
The Personal Care Assistant will provide direct resident care under the supervision of the Director of Assisted Living and/or Assisted Living LVN Charge Nurse. They will maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for all residents, focusing on activities of daily living and anticipating their needs.
Responsibilities
- Ambulate, bathe, dress, eat, serve, clear, and clean dining areas, assist with toileting, hygiene, and activities for residents
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as bed making and general cleaning between regular Housekeeping visits
- Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
- Report changes and unusual occurrences to the Licensed Nurse or Director of Assisted Living/SCRA
- Transport residents via wheelchair to and from activities, programs, dining rooms, and transportation pick-up points
- Maintain nutritional and fluid intake records as needed
- Assist with ordering and serving meals in the dining room
- Accurately document required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior personal care assistant experience preferred
- Current First Aid Certification required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
Pay Rate: $21.00 – 23.00/hr.
Schedule
Full time positions on a 4 on/ 2 off rotating schedules (days off will vary each week). 1 Full time position 4 on 2 off (2 AM shifts and 2 PM shifts on a rotating schedule). Assisted Living 2 full time Pm shifts 3-11p on a 4 on 2 off rotating schedule.
