PCA/CNA Caregiver (Conway, AR)

About the role

CareLink offers a unique opportunity for caregivers to support older adults in their daily lives. The role includes a variety of responsibilities designed to enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with personal grooming tasks such as bathing, dressing, and hair care.
• Transferring customers between bed and chairs/wheelchairs.
• Conducting and assisting with passive and active range of motion exercises.
• Operating and assisting with the use of assistive devices like wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
• Changing and laundering bed linens.
• Performing general housekeeping duties including sweeping, vacuuming, and washing dishes.
• Preparing and feeding meals to clients.
• Running errands and shopping as needed.

Requirements

• One year experience in direct patient care with a home health agency, nursing home, hospital, or completion of a 40-hour training course with certification.
• A valid Arkansas driver’s license or ID.
• Proof of auto liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

• Knowledge of personal care techniques.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Ability to respond to individual needs.
• Ability to adjust to various working conditions and settings.
• Ability to assist with lifting and transferring adult clients safely.
• Ability to lift, transfer, squat, bend, and stoop.
