Responsibilities

• Support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Aid in mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Support clients in managing their medication routines.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
• Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A PCA, HHA, or CNA certification is preferred.
• A certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
• A TB Skin Test is required.
• A compassionate and empathetic attitude is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• The ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team is necessary.
