About the role
Bose Corporation is seeking a Senior PC Board (PCB) Designer to join their dynamic and highly collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge consumer electronics products reaching millions of customers worldwide. The Senior PCB Designer will influence designs from early concept through production, collaborating with some of the best engineering minds in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the full PCB design lifecycle, from schematic collaboration and layout through release to manufacturing.
- Lead or support designs involving multiple PCBs and complex system requirements.
- Partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges.
- Apply and manage electrical and physical constraints to ensure high-quality, robust designs.
- Support production builds and design revisions as products move through development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience using Cadence Allegro PCB Editor.
- Strong working knowledge of Cadence Constraint Manager.
- Familiarity with Allegro System Capture schematic tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing flexible printed circuits (FPCs).
- Experience using Cadence Sigrity simulation and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Allegro EDM library management and design data control.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on PCB design experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Editor, Cadence Constraint Manager, and Allegro System Capture.
