PC Assembler II

About the Role

The PC Assembler II performs entry-level to semi-skilled electronic assembly functions in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares boards for assembly by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprints, and specifications; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assembles and inspects assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, and methods.
• Performs assembly steps with little or no assistance, including PC board assembly and soldering, mechanical assembly, and inspection.
• Completes adjustments or replacements of component parts.
• Reads and interprets drawings, specifications, or written instructions.
• Recognizes subtle functional problems, defective parts, or other abnormalities.
• Handles various types of assemblies and learns to perform new assembly tasks as required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
