Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end banking UX initiatives for both Financial Advisor managed and self-directed clients.
- Differentiate our banking experiences in a competitive landscape by setting and driving the UX vision for deposits and cash management.
- Manage a small team of designers, providing UX thought leadership to product and engineering partners, and remaining hands-on as needed to define direction and deliver key work.
- Work in-office 4 days a week to collaborate with business, tech, and UX partners.
Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating successful product releases with multiple departments.
- At least 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing small- to medium-sized teams.
- Mastery in managing team workload and deliverables.
- A Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Mastery in design thinking methodologies.
- Experience improving UX workflows, especially with AI technology or rethinking internal processes.
- Experience working in a collaborative, diverse environment.
- Strong business acumen and active listening skills.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to set direction for undefined, complex projects.
- The ability to validate assumptions and uncover the root cause of a problem by testing, learning, and iterating.
- The ability to negotiate trade-offs to manage scope and meet delivery commitments.
