Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients and determine necessary care.
- Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT License.
- State Driver’s License.
- BLS certification.
- NREMT certification.
- Passing driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass physical agility test.
Qualifications
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Related experience in healthcare preferred.
Skills
- Appropriate EMT skills.
- Communications.
- Medical equipment usage.
- Cleaning procedures.
- Office equipment and tool usage.
