Payroll Tax Analyst
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate payroll tax records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- File tax returns and payments in a timely manner.
- Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies.
- Respond to tax notices efficiently.
- Support payroll operations through accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in payroll tax and payroll accounting.
- Strong skills in reconciliation and general payroll processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Expertise in Payroll Tax Compliance.
Work Environment
The position is currently based at the Rone Engineering office, a recent acquisition, while a new location in the DFW area is being sought. This role offers a lot of exposure and opportunity within a rapidly growing testing, inspection, certification (TIC), geotechnical engineering, and earth sciences company that supports major infrastructure and construction projects throughout North America.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
