Responsibilities
- Provides strategic training, oversight and direction for the Department of Corrections’ payroll services, acting as the department’s primary subject matter expert on complex payroll matters.
- Establishes payroll policies, training manuals/materials and standards.
- Ensures consistent statewide application of laws and collective bargaining agreements.
- Provides final review, mentoring and guidance on complex payroll issues, grievances, and compliance matters.

Qualifications
Equivalent To Those Typically Gained By Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience providing payroll production and/or operations support to a business or organization, human resource management, business administration, public administration, or similar business field.
