Payroll -Senior Management Specialist

Job Description

The Payroll Senior Management Specialist oversees timekeeping functions, assists with payroll processing, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Assist with overall payroll workflow
• Manage and process daily timekeeping and attendance functions
• Process payroll transactions accurately and on schedule including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions, when applicable
• Ensures accurate and timely processing of timekeeping and payroll updates including but not limited to employees, new hires, terminations, and employee changes
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws, collective bargaining agreements and company policy
• Maintain, monitor and audit the payroll and timekeeping functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner
• Oversees the maintenance of employee records and ensure confidentiality for employee information
• Prepare and support payroll related, statistical and analytical reports for management as required
• Support payroll systems including but not limited to updates, testing, and process improvements
• Train and supervisor staff, as applicable
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualification

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in payroll or a satisfactory combination of education and experience

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Proficient with payroll software

PAYROLL SALARY RANGE

• $79,942.00 - $110,000.00
