ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist personnel at all levels across the enterprise by answering payroll related inquiries.
- Administer benefit payment programs (e.g. director car stipend, fitness reimbursements, dependent scholarship program).
- Process garnishment and withholding orders such as tax levies, child support judgments, etc.
- Afford assistance with the filing of employee records and employment verifications.
- Serve as back-up to other team members.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable payroll laws as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a payroll environment preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and within established deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, Oracle HCM).
