About the Role
As a Payroll Clerk, you are responsible for carrying out community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant. This role includes general payroll duties such as compensation, employment status, and employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Execute community payroll operations following company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll laws and regulations
- Manage compensation, employment status, and employee benefits
- Maintain strong understanding of payroll accounting and best practices
- Handle confidential material with sensitivity and professionalism
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting (required)
- Current knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll guidelines and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of payroll application systems
