Payroll Manager
About the role
This position assists the Director of Finance in managing payroll and associated tasks, including tax handling, direct deposits, reporting to local, state, and federal authorities, and preparing audit workpapers for North Ed and its supported districts.
Responsibilities
- Handle payroll and tax responsibilities
- Prepare and submit audit workpapers
- Maintain personnel information and ORS reconciliation
- Stay updated on relevant 403B/457 and flexible spending account rules and regulations
- Organize and manage fiscal data as needed
- Manage confidential information and adhere to privacy requirements
- Flex schedule to accommodate biweekly payroll calendar
