Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day payroll operations for a large, multi-state and multi-location employee population, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Manage payroll compliance, tax requirements, wage and hour regulations, audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
- Lead and develop the payroll team while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Benefits, and other business leaders.
- Drive payroll system enhancements, process improvements, automation, and standardization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as the payroll subject matter expert and provide guidance on payroll policies, reporting, compliance, and complex employee payroll issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including experience managing a payroll team or large-scale payroll operation.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax compliance, wage and hour regulations, and payroll systems.
- Experience with payroll system implementations, process improvement, automation, and working in a complex or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Pay
$125,000 - $135,000 + Bonus
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week.
