About the role

The role of Payroll Manager involves overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee benefits, and processing payroll accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll operations including processing, verification, and distribution of paychecks.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Collaborate with HR and management teams to resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings on time.
• Train and mentor new employees in payroll procedures and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in payroll management or similar role.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
• Experience with payroll tax calculations and reporting.
• Understanding of employee benefits administration.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and budgeting.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule
