About the role
The role of Payroll Manager involves overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee benefits, and processing payroll accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll operations including processing, verification, and distribution of paychecks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings on time.
- Train and mentor new employees in payroll procedures and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll management or similar role.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Experience with payroll tax calculations and reporting.
- Understanding of employee benefits administration.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and budgeting.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Schedule
