Payroll Coordinator
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content.
We have "Position Overview" which could be About the role. We'll create About the role section with the overview paragraph.
Responsibilities: many bullet points. We'll put them in - .
Requirements: maybe same as Qualifications? The posting has "Qualifications" list. Could treat as Requirements? The instruction says we can have Requirements and Qualifications separate. We'll put the qualifications list under Qualifications. Requirements maybe not present; we could omit.
Skills: maybe we can extract skills from qualifications: proficient with web based payroll and report writing software, Microsoft Excel, basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, working knowledge of State and Federal wage and hour regulations, ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, good communication and customer service skills, detail oriented, experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP I-Reporting desirable, experience in higher education is a plus. We could put those under Skills.
Benefits, Pay, Schedule: posting does not mention benefits, pay, schedule. So we should NOT include those sections.
Also we need to include any metadata like PCN 689 maybe as short p? The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can include a short p with "PCN 689". Probably include at top before sections.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all responsibilities sentences as list items. Ensure we don't lose any.
Let's extract responsibilities paragraph: It's a long block. We'll split into logical items. Each sentence seems a responsibility. We'll create
- for each sentence.
Let's copy responsibilities text:

We'll put each as
- .
Now Qualifications list:
"High school diploma.
Minimum of two years payroll experience.
Prefer an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
Proficient with web based payroll and report writing software.
Microsoft Excel and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
A working knowledge of State and Federal wage an hour regulations.
Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Detail oriented and mindset to follow through on tasks and initiatives.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP I-Reporting desirable.
Experience in higher education is a plus."
We'll put under Qualifications.
Skills: maybe we can extract from qualifications but we already have them; but we could still create Skills section with those same items? The instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We already have About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications. Could we combine Skills into Qualifications? But they ask for headings e.g. Skills. If we have content for Skills, we should include. However we risk duplication. Perhaps we can treat Qualifications as the list of qualifications, and Skills as a subset (like technical skills). But we need to avoid thin sections. Maybe we can combine Qualifications and Skills into one section called Qualifications (including skills). But the instruction says use those headings as examples, not mandatory. It says "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can choose which to include. It's okay to omit Skills if we don't have distinct content. We'll keep Qualifications.
Now About the role: we need to extract overview: "PCN 689 Position Overview Responsible for electronic processing of Student, Adjunct and Non-Exempt payroll and payroll reporting for Merrimack College. Assist and provide back up to the Director of Payroll Services. Assist the Director of Payroll Services with special projects as assigned."
We'll make a paragraph.
We also have "About Merrimack College" description later; that could be part of About the role? Actually About the role is about the position, not the college. The "About Merrimack College" is general college info; could be considered About the role? Probably not; but we could include as part of About the role? The instruction: About the role heading for section about the role. The college description is not about the role; it's about the employer. Might be considered extra but we could include as a short p under About the role? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should include the college description somewhere. Where? Could be a separate section like "About Merrimack College" but not in allowed headings. Could we put it under About the role? Might be okay as it's still about the role's context. But better to include as a short paragraph after the overview, maybe as part of About the role.
We'll include a
with the college description.
Now we need to remove boilerplate: Application Materials, Statement on Our Mission, Equal Opportunity Employer, Internal External etc. Also remove "Application Materials Should Include Resume Cover letter..." etc. Also remove "Statement on Our Mission ..." and "About Merrimack College" we kept? Actually we kept About Merrimack College as substantive; it's not boilerplate. It's description of college. Keep.
We also need to remove "Merrimack College is an Equal Opportunity Employer." and "Internal External". Also remove "This position is subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check." That's substantive? It's a condition; maybe keep? It's not boilerplate? It's a condition of employment. Could be considered substantive. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This line about background check is not EEO; it's a condition. Might keep. But it's somewhat generic. I'd keep it as a short p maybe under About the role? Or we could drop as minor metadata? It's not job ID. I'd keep as a p.
Now produce HTML.
Structure:
