Payroll Coordinator

About The Role

CodeVertex Innovations is hiring a Payroll Coordinator to support payroll, benefits, billing, financial documentation, account records, and finance operations processes. This is a United States remote position with structured expectations for communication, documentation, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll, benefits, billing, account records, or finance operations workflows.
• Review financial or employee-support documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timely routing.
• Maintain trackers, spreadsheets, internal notes, and process records related to assigned work.
• Cook with HR, operations, and finance stakeholders on routine requests and follow-up items.
• Help improve repeatable finance-support procedures and documentation quality.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in payroll support, benefits administration, finance operations, billing, or account support.
• Comfort reviewing numbers, documents, records, and recurring process details carefully.
• Strong spreadsheet, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Able to follow confidential processes and handle business information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a remote-first or distributed team environment.
• Able to improve templates, checklists, trackers, or operating procedures.
• Comfort working with confidential or process-sensitive business information.

Compensation And Work Environment

The salary range for this role is $53,000 – $83,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and business needs. This role is remote within the United States.
