Payments Tech - Java Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst with GCP experience to support the development and ongoing enhancement of the Enterprise Payments platform. This role focuses on implementing cloud-native solutions across a Java backend (including REST API development), supporting event-driven payment processing, and ensuring application stability in production environments. This role partners closely with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and business analysts to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available payment solutions while following established enterprise standards and best practices. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on development skills, experience working in agile teams, and the ability to independently deliver features while escalating design decisions and complex issues to senior technical leaders as appropriate.
