About the Role
The Payments Compliance Analyst role is responsible for executing and improving compliance operations related to payments. This position supports merchant underwriting, annual reviews, administrative updates, and investigations of BSA/AML alerts, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and process enhancement. The role contributes to maintaining regulatory compliance and operational integrity within the payments function.
Responsibilities
- Conduct merchant due diligence and identify automation opportunities for onboarding
- Perform annual compliance reviews and manage merchant communications
- Process administrative changes such as bank account updates
- Investigate BSA/AML alerts with an analytical approach
- Communicate professionally with customers to resolve compliance matters
- Audit daily processes to find bottlenecks and implement AI-driven optimizations

Pay
Target starting salary between $64,000 and $86,000 depending on experience.
