Paving Foreman

Duties

• Supervises all phases of a paving operation such as maintenance of equipment, employees, and distribution of product.
• Responsible for implementing environmental, health and safety regulations and policies (local, state and government).
• Responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Maintains equipment serviced, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping.
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates daily activities and work assignments for your team.
• Planners, produces, records, creates, and submits reports using email and fax with Word and Excel.
• Understands the dangers involved in an interstate operation.
• Has a basic knowledge of abilities and limitations in all applications. Recognizes potential problems before breakdowns occur.
• Works safely and follows the policies and procedures of the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Asphalt Paving.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience supervisory (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
