About the role

We are seeking a Paving Construction Inspector I to join our dynamic Field Services team. You will be responsible for conducting and documenting observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to roadway paving. Your role involves monitoring, recording, and inspecting progress on construction paving projects, receiving general supervision from the Senior Inspector, and performing other duties as needed.

  • Monitor, record, and inspect progress on construction paving projects.
  • Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School CTE Teacher or graduate or technical school.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction inspection.
  • Valid driver’s license is required and reliable personal vehicle, ability to travel to multiple job sites.
  • OSHA 10 Construction certified.
  • Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works a standard 40-hour week.
