PAUT Technician

About the role

We are seeking experienced Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspection technicians for an ongoing, long-term project (2+ years) in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT inspections and other NDE techniques in accordance with DTS procedure, client specifications, and industry standards (ASME, APE, AWS, etc.)
• Calibrate and operate advanced UT equipment and scanning systems
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data, calculations, and results
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports
• Communicate and interact with site project managers, engineers, etc.
• Comply with all standard, DTS, and site safety standards

Requirements

• Current Level II PAUT certification
• Documented PAUT classroom training hours
• Documented PAUT OJT hours
• Hands-on experience with PAUT equipment and software
• Strong understanding of ASME, API, and AWS codes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in new construction
• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to pass drug screen at hire and random throughout duration of project
• US Citizenship is required
