About the role

The Retail Specialist Program plays a crucial part in the commercial success of the brands across various retail accounts. This role focuses on building brand visibility and driving volume through strategic promotions, relationship management, and market insights.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Continuous Support: Schedule and activate monthly KPIs to enhance sell-in and sell-through of products.
  • Sampling Coordination: Organize and execute educational sampling activities to promote product recommendations and increase conversion rates.
  • Account Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with staff and decision-makers to encourage product recommendations and sales.
  • Build Brand Awareness & Visibility: Elevate brand awareness through proactive education and engagement initiatives, and strategic merchandising efforts.
  • Monitor and Gather Competitive Trends: Collect and analyze competitive data to identify opportunities and align strategies with market needs.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive recaps and weekly reports detailing objectives, achievements, and future plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Manager of Commercial Planning and the local team to identify and implement market opportunities.
  • Drive Sales Enhancement: Implement strategies like upselling and securing multiple SKU distribution to boost commercial success.
  • Budget and Time Management: Ensure timely delivery of KPIs and efficient resource utilization.
  • Scheduling: Work nights and weekends, occasionally on holidays, to meet the demands of the role.

Requirements

Full-time Specialists will be salaried employees, with salaries dependent on market and experience. Must have a strong commercial mindset, passion for the spirits industry, and the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.

Qualifications

Previous retail/spirit industry/distributor experience is highly preferred. Must possess strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Skills

Excellent verbal and presentation skills, strong time management, and the ability to solve problems creatively are essential.
