Patrol Officer
We are a community-based policing agency that is COMMUNITY PROUD. We are looking for individuals to join our team as we provide professional police services to the citizens of Hartford.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- No felony or domestic abuse convictions
- Must possess the ability to perform essential functions of a law enforcement officer
Requirements
- Minimum of an associate degree, 60 college credits from an accredited institution of higher learning, or college credits from an accredited institution of higher learning and waived credits from Wisconsin Department of Justice Training and Standards totaling 60 credits
- Possession of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Training & Standards Board Certification or eligibility for certification may be given preference
Benefits
- Starting rate is $33.03/hour, rising to $40.87/hour (per 2026 contract)
