Responsibilities
- Aids healthcare professionals as needed in the assigned work area.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
- Procures, processes, and delivers necessary equipment, supplies, nourishments, and resources to the assigned area.
- Transports patients between nursing units, diagnostic and treatment areas, and for discharge from the hospital using appropriate equipment.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Education: None required.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and write simple correspondence.
