About the role
Patient Transporter positions are available at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. We are currently seeking candidates for multiple full-time, part-time, day shift, evening shift, and night shift opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assumes independent responsibility/accountability for the transport of patients, equipment, specimens, and other items under the direction of the Transport Manager and/or Transport Dispatcher.
- Assists in departmental data gathering as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Communications: Able to communicate fluently (speaking and writing) using the English language.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with medical terminology and patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $18.17 - $25.90 per hour.
