About the role
Join Munson Medical Center as a Patient Transporter and support patients during their hospital journey by helping them get where they need to go safely and comfortably. Responsibilities
- Transport patients in a safe and timely manner, following established policies and procedures.
- Receive and record accurate information from TeleTracking system/dispatcher for each transport.
- Accept patient transport jobs via TeleTracking system.
- Complete patient transport jobs via TeleTracking system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in patient handling and working with the public preferred.
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire. Failure to obtain may result in termination of employment.
Additional Information
Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella. Employees must also receive an annual flu vaccine during the flu season or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
