This is an overnight position (6pm-6am) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at our Boise work location.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and timely transport patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facilities.
  • Transport patients to and from inpatient units, surgery, therapy, radiology, and other areas.
  • Provide direct patient contact, including assisting patients into/out of bed, transporting equipment, and using assistive devices to meet patient needs and enhance the patient experience.
  • Retrieve medical records, laboratory specimens, supplies, and medications as required.
  • Maintain and clean transport equipment.
  • Comply with established personal protective equipment requirements for protection against exposure to blood, body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, and hazardous substances.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements to meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Resolve routine questions, issues, and problems; refer more complex issues to higher levels.
  • May assist with dispatch coverage as needed.
  • May participate in the interview, training, and onboarding process.
  • May participate in performance initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
