Patient Transport/ Van Driver (PRN)
About the role
Safely escort and transport patients to and from The Brook Hospital-KMI to designated locations. Ensure timely, compassionate transportation and assist patients by ensuring they connect with family, friends, or housing/shelter representatives. Maintain a safe and clean environment for transport and report any behavioral issues of concern immediately to your direct supervisor. Communicate any infectious and disease control issues and proceed only when a suitable outcome has been advised and administered. Prepare and ensure equipment is ready prior to discharge routes. Ensure discharge routes do not exceed an 8-hour transport unless approved by proper officials. Follow all policies and procedures as written.
