Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the department.
• Performs darkroom duties.
• Orders supplies.
• Stocks supplies.
• Dresses patients.
• Handles front office duties.
• Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
• Files patient reports.
• Retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in the department.
• Demonstrates good telephone etiquette and greets patients and visitors politely and friendly.
• Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and runs errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Per Diem; shift variable.
