Patient Transport Aide - Evenings

What will you do?

- Provides safe transportation for patients, specimens, and equipment and other related tasks assigned.

- Coordinates these services within the Hospital to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.

- Actively support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Verifies all information needed to safely transport patient
• Explains transport procedure to the patient prior to moving
• Affirms patient comfort during transport
• Assures patient privacy is respected at all times
• Maintains monitoring of patient's condition during transport
• Demonstrates ability to handle confidential information with discretion following system confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• C.N.A certification preferred
• Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire
• One year of previous health care experience preferred
• Demonstrates the CARES Values and Standards of Cooperation at all times
• Requires weekend & evening flexibility

Pay Range

$18.16 - $20.00
