Patient Support Representative (REMOTE)

About the role

As an Inbound Call Center Representative, you’ll play a vital role in our Patient Support Department, serving as the first point of contact for patients calling to seek information and ask questions about their services and orders. You will confidently manage 40-50 inbound calls per day with compassion and empathy, representing Aveanna and our values. Whether you are experienced in this industry or new, our tailored training will equip you with the tools and skills to navigate the ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls with professional phone etiquette, de-escalating worried or upset patients daily.
• Accurately complete data entry tasks in an organized and timely manner.
• Work toward daily and monthly metric and KPI goals.
• Learn and use new computer programs and software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a call center environment.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the medical industry or familiarity with medical terminology (preferably with DME and Home Healthcare).
• Experience or familiarity with respiratory equipment and respiratory-related patient support preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED.

• Ability to participate in virtual meetings with a professional, camera-ready presence.
• Strong time-management skills, accountability, and self-direction.

Pay

Competitive hourly pay starting at $19.00 per hour.
