Patient Sitter Resource Team Per Diem Varied Shifts MMH

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside presence to assure the safety of a patient who is a safety risk to self or others, disoriented, confused or under a Baker Act.
• Alert nursing staff to any patient care needs.
• Assist with simple patient needs such as water or help with feeding, only under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrate service excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred:

• Vocational/Technical School Diploma
